2015 Reading Challenge [Closed] discussion

Woohoo, I seem to be catching up pretty quick! Only a week behind now!

I'm actually rather excited for this book. Loved the movie when I was a kid and the latest movie "Saving Mr. Banks" was great and reignited my interest in reading the book. Yay!

This is a classic I never read and I don't really remember the movie, I'll add it in my to-read list.
Mary's umbrella could be useful with the current weather :D

Rachael, I have decided to read this book for the exact same reasons, but I'm reading it as a book by a female author - week 9 (next week). I'm sure it's going to be different from the movie. I wish I could wipe my mind clean of Disney's antics just long enough to get the true story P.L. Travers intended. She loved the characters so much. Saving Mr. Banks has resonated with me more than the movie Mary Poppins. I love the story behind the story!
