superawesomekt | 63 comments 25. Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman Norse Mythology - finished 11/23

I listened to this on audiobook and enjoyed Gaiman's narration very much. My first real introduction to Norse mythology and since I'm not a big movie watcher it was fun to get the backstory on Thor and Loki from the Marvel movies.

I didn't finish my two books last week, but I am really close on a couple of them, so if I finish 3-4 books this week (including this one) I still think I will be reasonably on track. My latest mood has been to read a little of many books every day which leads to an uneven log of finish dates.

superawesomekt | 63 comments 26. Death Comes for the Archbishop by Willa Cather Death Comes for the Archbishop - finished 11/30

Read this as part of a book club I'm in. It was slow and sometimes not what I was in the mood for, but I have always admired Willa Cather's writing and I loved the setting. It's a quiet book. I will definitely read this again.

I am *so close* to finishing 2-3 books, so even though I technically have 10 more books, I expect to finish 3 more books this week which should get me back to my 2 books / week trend.

superawesomekt | 63 comments 27. The God Who Weeps How Mormonism Makes Sense of Life by Terryl L. Givens The God Who Weeps: How Mormonism Makes Sense of Life - finished 12/2

I've had this book FOREVER so I'm really happy to finally finish it. I found myself underlining quite a bit so I expect I will keep it around.

Hoping to finish another book tomorrow!

superawesomekt | 63 comments 28. The Railway Children by E. Nesbit The Railway Children - 12/3

I loved reading old fashioned children's books when I was little and I would have loved this one, too. Very sweet.

Cruising along...

superawesomekt | 63 comments 29. The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton The Outsiders - finished 12/8

I can see why this one is so famous. It was really good.

superawesomekt | 63 comments 30. The Girl in the Tower (Winternight Trilogy, #2) by Katherine Arden The Girl in the Tower - finished 12/8

Finally had enough time to just sit and finish this one. I liked this a lot better than the first book!

superawesomekt | 63 comments 31. Everything on a Waffle (Coal Harbour #1) by Polly Horvath Everything on a Waffle - finished 12/9

I've had this one on my shelf for over 10 years. It was charming and I'll definitely keep it for my kids to read.

superawesomekt | 63 comments 32. The Death of Ivan Ilyich by Leo Tolstoy The Death of Ivan Ilyich - finished 12/13

This was a quick and interesting read.

superawesomekt | 63 comments 33. Wait For Marcy (Marcy Rhodes, #1) by Rosamond du Jardin Wait For Marcy - finished 12/14

Cute little vintage teenage coming-of-age / romance.

Thanks for catching that! Fixed!

superawesomekt | 63 comments 34. Lost and Found by Orson Scott Card Lost and Found - finished 12/17

My friend recommended this to me and I've had the audiobook for some time. Not my usual genre, but Orson Scott Card is a great storyteller. I enjoyed this.

superawesomekt | 63 comments 35. Arabella by Georgette Heyer Arabella - finished 12/30

I lent this book to my sister-in-law and then re-read it when she got it back to me.

36. Her Royal Spyness (Her Royal Spyness Mysteries, #1) by Rhys Bowen Her Royal Spyness - finished 12/31 (audiobook)

This was a silly little murder mystery, but the audible narration was good.
