I love your new adults books but I wonder is there an other genre that you would like to try someday? Paranormal, romcom,....

Where do you write?

Thanks so much for your question! Lots of things give me inspiration for my stories. Music...Movies...Feelings I get when listening to an old song--better yet, the feelings I get from the memories associated with that old song. I love trying to replicate those butterfly-inducing emotions in the pages of my stories and hope (fingers crossed) that I'm successful.

Two great questions! I write what comes to me in the moment. So, I don't usually think about genre. I do love college romances since I think that is such a great time...a time when you can be swept off your feet (numerous times) and not really realize what the real world will be like and not have all the responsibilities that come after college. In all honesty, I ultimately go where the story takes me. If all of a sudden a shifter appears in one of my novels, well then I guess I'll be dabbling in that genre. LOL! I never say never.

And where do I write? Everywhere! In my car at my son's soccer practice. In bed. On my couch. During my breaks at work. Whenever inspiration strikes me and I need to get the words down (before I forget them--haha), I write.

This is a tough question!!! I love all my heroines because they are all strong and feisty. And, then, all my heroes are just so swoonworthy. So...I'm going with the one character I fell most in love with. And that would have to be Trace Forester in For Forester. Sadly, it is my least read book because it is an age gap story (older woman younger guy)which I think deters some readers. Trace is almost twenty, a senior in college, and a star football player. Marin is twenty-nine and a single mom.

I wish more people read it because Trace is just so damn dreamy. He's what we want every guy to be. He only has eyes for the heroine and despite the temptations in front of him being a star football player and the people trying to tell him what is best for him, he knows what is best for him. Her.

I just love that in a hero. It's his life and he doesn't let others dictate what he does and who he wants. He has a maturity well beyond his years. I wish all guys were like him. LOL!

This is a great question! I normally get an idea for a story, like I see the MC's first meeting, and then I just start from there and go. But then other times, I get an idea and write down a list of things I want to see happen (before I forget them). I don't usually outline. Ideas just come to me as I write (or at crazy times throughout the day). I love those unexpected ideas that come to me when I least expect them to. Though, sometimes, I wish they flowed more freely so it wouldn't take me so long to write a book. Haha!

How long do you have? Because there are so many authors I admire. And so many authors I love for so many different reasons. But since you asked for one, I'll go with one of my favorites in my genre, LJ Shen. And, my favorite by her is Broken Knight...or...Vicious. See? This is tough!! Broken Knight made me cry my eyes out, and Vicious had an MC you loved to hate. And that is my total weakness in books!

Oh, tough question! And I'm cheating and choosing two for the same reason. Kiera from SC Stephen's Thoughtless because I want Kellan Kyle to love me the way he loves her. And, for the same reason I'd choose Eva in Bared to You by Sylvia Day because Gideon Cross. Need I say more? LOL!!
