David Hardwick and Kim seemed to have a “moment.” Maybe?

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I like Hardwick. I'm not sure it was a moment, but there is a connection of sorts. I wonder if that will grow into something.

He was bowled over about her automotive knowledge and he’s asked her out. Right now it feels only like a “maybe” but a strong one. Kim was intrigued, too.

We will see!

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) Hope so. There are a lot of books to go, so hopefully we will see David again. I'm thinking Kim has a lot to come to terms with before she gets into a serious relationship though.

Lynn (ftbooklover) Although it would be nice to see Kim attempt a relationship, it can only lead to heartache until Kim has made peace with her past.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I think any relationship will have to start on a friends first footing. My guess, if anything blossoms, that they will work on bikes together then move to something more. You are right though, it won't work long term if Kim doesn't make peace with her past.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I hope so too. I liked him and think he and Kim might make a good team.

Sharon, I agree. Kim isn't going to be able to have much of a relationship with anyone until she deals with her past.

Oh I think it was a "moment" for sure. The eye contact & obvious interest. And now he wants to come over to see Kim's motorcycle project. uh huh...I'm betting it's going there but heaven help the poor man...Kim's no typical date - he'll have his work cut out for him.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments You can say that again Sandra. It is a good thing David is used to dealing with difficult people. He will need every ounce of patience he has. It will be interesting if it happens.

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) I would love to see Kim with someone as part of her development... when she is ready. And yes he will have to be a special sort of man and David with his background would seem to fit the bill.
