What Are You Reading
That Time I Was Reincarnated As A Slime!!!!!! I watched the first episode and LOVED it! How is the novel Greg?
For me, I read any and all mangas. I got into it with Shojo, now more towards Josei. I love action manga, such as Akame Ga Kill, Assassination Classroom and of course Full Metal Alchemist! Gunslinger Girl is so good as well! Pandora Hearts too!
I own waaaayyyy too many mangas hahaa! I have over 400!

For manga, I'm reading One Piece and Natsume's Book of Friends.
For novels, I'm reading Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman.

The novels are very different and a lot better. The biggest thing about the anime that irritates me is that the main character is supposed to be a 40 year old man why is he talking like a 15 year old. But that just could be the dub I haven’t watched it subbed.
Wait- hes 40?????? I did not catch that either, sounded and looks much younger! Glad you are enjoying the novels!
I am currently reading Tokyo Ghoul by Sui Ishida and I am currently on volume 8! I am enjoying it so far

I'm re-reading Bleach for the second time and I'm on the second to last volume so I will finish it this year.
History's Strongest Desciple Kenichi (on volume 38)
Pokemon Adventures (on volume 19)
Detective Conan/Cased Closed (on volume 13)
Special A (on volume 4)
My Hero Academia (on volume 4)
Attact on Titan (about 30 chapters behind)
One Piece (about 30 chapter behind)
Black Butler (up to date)
Noragami (up to date)
Goblin Slayer (up to date)
Berserk (up to date)
Vinland Saga (up to date)
The Promised Neverland (up to date)
As you can see, I have a lot of ongoing manga, so if I start anything new, I try to read ones that are completed.
I just finished Slayers Light Novel 3 and am now going to move on to volume 4. I am continuing to read more Fruits Basket (I've read 4 volumes so far) and I am also reading Martin the Warrior by Brian Jacques. It's the 6th Redwall book. I try to read a couple of them a year around the holidays trying to finish the series.
I’m enjoying it but I think the last 2; Salamandastron and Mariel of Redwall were better. I’m almost done with this one.
I am currently reading an enjoyable sci-fi series Planetside. Highly recommended if you're into sci-fi. Also starting Volume 4 of the Slayers light novel series.

Started a new fantasy series, Legends of the First Empire by Michael Sullivan. I enjoyed his Ryria novels and am looking forward to this 6 books series now that he's completed it.
Also reading Slayer Light Novel Volume 4.

It’s a series called Cube Arts. There’s only 3 volumes. If you like SAO, you might like this. I’m not sure; I’m only a few pages in, but I’m enjoying it so far. The art is pretty, anyway.

I just read the Cube Arts Volume 1. I didn't like it as much as you did Evelyn but it was still a fun quick little read. Here's my review.

Hey everyone! I am currently reading Horimiya and been binge watching anime these past few weeks that's why I was kind of inactive but I hope yall are doing okay :)
All good Eden. I bounce back and forth on hobbies all the time. There’s never enough time in a day to cover them all.

You'll have to let me know what you think. I did the first 3 Witcher books but just couldn't stick with it. The first 2 books The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny should definitely be read first but they are in fact 2 collections of short stories involving Geralt, the witcher. You won't understand Blood of the Elves much without the back story from the 2 collections. I just could not get into them even after 3 of the 7 books. They were just too dry for me.
I will say that the narrator is pretty good but you're bound to have a chuckle when he pronounces Dandelion.
As for others like it. There are tons of fantasy series that go back and do an entire prequel series. There are also a bunch that are just collections of shorter stories like Fritz Leiber's Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser.

Manga wise, I just finished Paradise Kiss as I got the 20th anniversary edition. I also got the final two volumes of Aria The Masterpiece which I will cry at when its over cause I love it soooooo much! I'm also reading Cinderella Is Dead which is a pretty interesting and somewhat dark take on Cinderella (of course) I am listening to Robopocalypse which is ok, but could be so much more.

I try to read one manga series at a time, until I am done or caught up at any rate. For One Piece, however, I am doing by arcs, and plan to do the same with Naruto and Bleach, and probably a few others I will get into later, if they are realllllyyy long like those.

I'm currently reading like over 20 manga series and way more novel series. lol
When I was younger I would stock pile and buy a bunch of different series at a time. This turned out to be problematic because I would eventually lose interest in reading them at the time and either A) Keep buying them and not reading them. or B) stop buying them and then the later volumes became ridiculously expensive. ( I have a few series mostly complete but the last few volumes I need are anywhere between $75-$300. Shaman King, Great Teacher Onizuka, and Battle Royale are good examples of this.
Now a days it's much nicer because I can just buy volumes as I read them. So I just read until I lose interest. No harm no foul.
I know a lot of people read scanlations and I used to do a lot of that but now that I have at least a little better means and a taste for quality I can't bring myself to read them if there's better quality available.

Same I have an Audible book queued up at all times. My audible account is at 545 titles.... So I always have a audio book, a kindle book, and some manga or comic series going at the same time.

As for what I'm reading. I just finished That Time I Was Reincarnated as a Slime Novel #10. I'm finishing book 2 of 6 Legend of the First Empire by Michael Sullivan. I'll be starting book 3 of that and the 5th Slayers novel shortly.
For manga I read Chainsaw Man Volume 3 and will start Kimi ni Todoke 2 soon. For comics I was going through Nick Spencer's Amazing Spider-Man run but haven't picked that up in a couple months.

Manga wise, I have a few longer series on the go so if I do fancy picking up anything new, I will try to go for something that is completed and I will try to finish a series before starting something else. That doesn't always work though.

I have noticed that after about 2 years I have forgotten everything except key points to books I’ve read. It makes me sad...

I am planning to read vagabond and jujutsu kaisen but I want to atleast complete our manga of the month challenge (╥﹏╥)

Yes! It really reminded me of Zootopia with the carnivore/herbivore premise but, yeah, I would recommend it for adults.
The wife and I watched the anime on Netflix and enjoyed it. Season 2 is airing now in Japan. I’ll wait for that to hit Netflix as well.
I am excited to read this- It's called Zom 100- bucket list of the dead, and this is the trailer from youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmE6x...

Anyway. For manga I'm currently reading D.Gray-man. I'm 21 volumes in. There are currently 26. Currently releasing one chapter every 3 months I question whether it will ever be completed.
I also finished a Shonen Romance series called Parallel. It was only 4 volumes so it was quick and easy. I enjoyed it quite a bit. It's written by the author of Pastel.
I'm also reading That Time I was Reincarnated as a Slime Volume 9 of the Light Novel.
And for regular US Fiction I'm reading book 7 of The Beginning After the End. Which is kind of a LitRPG or Wuxia style series. Very anime in tropes and theme.
So what's everyone else reading?
