You write : “Even they renounce and go through other forms of hardship to reach with God. But without true Guru (the current living Christ )they have failed. So we always need a protecting hand… it's like having a supporting hand on your back 24 hours.”
Yes there is no happiness without Guru . One makes efforts under ones own ego and remains devoid of attainment. One must respectfully humble oneself before Guru and not worship according to ones own mind .Guru is a human who is in a superior position and we are subordinates . Unless we subordinate our will to his and follow the path He outlines for us we will receive nothing but will only be lead astray to self-destruction. All paths but surrender to this superior human lead to self destruction .Only when we think He si God in human form and that he alone knows the way and quit our way and follow what he tells us do we escape self destruction and get a new and constructive life .
You quote : “you doubtless realize that every game must be played according to rules. The fact is that the over-critical often waste their opportunities while the simple-minded win the day.”
Yes we must play his game well .It is a happy game for those who play it according to the rules which above all are -as far as possible- unconditional surrender to his will –that we have to please him by our best efforts to do what he tells us and to not do what he tells us not to . Those do best who after thorough study become convinced of his God hood and unquestioningly obey what ever he says as commands from God .
You write : “Even many a time people say this is a lie where it is written that we need guru and Nam” Ego and self will is a great evil and strong force and it wants to stay in control and trusts no one but itself yet ones ego is ones own greatest enemy which dangerously misleads and traps ones own self in destructive habits .
Until people wake up to how grievously their pride is harming them and how badly they need rescue form its tyrannical habits as it petulantly insists on its infallibility while making harmful mistakes ; as it lives a stormy life of the tantrums of a proud spoiled immature child who even at the cost of self destruction must have his own way . Ego falsely accuses Guru and God and Godly people while excusing itself -turning a blind eye to its own defects . out the bad in those who out of love would help it change for the better. Lie a wild animal it angrily mistrustfully growls for them to get away believing that they mean to take away its freedom while , in fact ego is the cruelest prison of all !!!Ego is MOST DECEITFUL AND DEADLY capture of all .
Only when ego sees with horror the horrible cycle it has trapped itself into and wishes to be saved from it. Only when breaks down and weeps and pleads to loving Guru for help vowing henceforth to serve him does its life transform to the path to peace and bliss to strength and love to wisdom and perfection . and we must all renew this resolve daily ( to escape the horrible cycle ego would trap us into and plead to our loving Guru for help vowing henceforth to serve him )
To do this ego must give up its defense mechanism and expose itself to gurus criticisms , shocks of truth about itself and allow him to dismantle it -as he pleases --into His own image so we can be one with him .
