What's Next? discussion

Debut novel from the author of Milkman, which won the 2018 Booker prize and one of my favorite books that year. Less polished but no less intense, No Bones shares life growing up in Belfast during The Troubles. The novel is biographical -- each chapter jumps 1-2 years ahead -- and builds throughout, capturing the physical and psychological damage from growing up in a war zone. 3.5 stars rounded up.
