A variety of holidays to celebrate this month. Choose one (or more) of the following words to spell out. You may use the 1st letter of the title (exclude leading articles: A, An, The) -OR- the first or last initial of the author.

All books used must be a minimum of 100 pages long - Page length determined by HARDCOVER 1st edition. If there is no Hardcover, then the most popular paperback governs page #.

You may read in any format - text, audio or e-book. If using audio or e-book I suggest using Amazon.com's "look inside" feature to get a page number for your quote.

You MUST finish the book before you can claim credit for completing a task.

A book may be used for only one task, even if it would satisfy the challenge for multiple tasks.

With author Eric Van Lustbader is Van part of his last name? I don't think it's a middle name but maybe it fits another category.

Thanks for asking .... Looking at his Goodreads profile it seems that "Van" is a middle name ... he's referred to as "Mr. Lustbader" there. I also checked my library system and they alphabetize him under 'L'

Hey...congrats!!!!! Glad you finished and enjoyed all your reads this month. I'd read Let it Snow and thought it was a really fun read. Nothing to See Here and The #1 Ladies Detective Agency one are already on my reading list but I added the other 4!!! Hope you (and anyone who reads this) have a very Merry Christmas!!!! Looking forward to the new challenge on January 1st.

Good job, Beverly! I was pleasantly surprised by "Nothing to See Here." It had been on my list for quite a while, but I just couldn't get to it. I'm really glad I finally did, because I really liked it, even though it's pretty strange (Have you read [book:The Family Fang? I think Kevin Wilson's stories are just a little off-kilter, but I like them!). I'll be interested in what you think about it! Also, Merry Christmas to you, too! :)
