I came across this book in a list of books readers like to give as gifts. I have never heard of it but I am intrigued. It could be humor, classic, etc.
The Screwtape Letters

Here is another one I think would be a good read: You'll Never Believe What Happened to Lacey: Crazy Stories about Racism

Anne | 1 comments Has anyone read Flannery O'Connor? There was a special on TV this week that talked about her life and how it influenced her writing. Her work sounds like irreverent humor with an extra dose of humanity (good and bad).

I'll watch the doc. and also look to see where we should start reading her. Put it on the list for the next year's discussion.

Dear Canada: These Are My Words: The Residential School Diary of Violet Pesheens

This would fall under YA, biographical and historical.

The Secret of Snow
