Read this series around 2010 - 2015.
A series of fantasy books, each book with different characters.
In the first book: A girl saves a man trapped in a book by a god, the man himself is the son of a goddess.

Is this series for kids, teens, or adults?

It's close, but not the one I'm looking for. In that book, adult stories, the man is literary traped in a book. His mother is Artemis, maybe. He is on the cover of that book.

What are his powers? What type of goddess is his mother (her powers)? Is the heroine human?

When you say 'literally trapped in a book', do you mean that when the girl reads the book, he appears in it as a character in the story? If so, it might be on this list: Books in Which Characters Know They're in Books.

Or do you mean trapped in the way that you could be trapped inside any physical object, e.g. a tree or a rock, with no effect on the story within the book?

When someone reads the spell on the cover, he is released for a short period of time. The girl is human. About powers I don't remember. Just that the gods are as always immortal.

I am very surprised it's not Fantasy Lover. It fits your description perfectly. The love interest, Julian, is a son of Aphrodite and is trapped in a book, there is a drawing of him inside/on the cover of the book and the incantation that allows to summon him for a short period of time.
