LibraryCin | 11678 comments In November, we collectively read 109 books for "Books to Screen".

This is on the "low" side for this year, but not the lowest. Only one tag this year was below 100: Journalism.

This one and Southern Gothic both came in at 109 as the next-lowest.

In this case, I do wonder if people were "recovering" from Poll Ballot!

Most likely-I had no urge to read this tag, and so I did not. The only tag I have missed since joining 😣

Robin P | 5739 comments It was relatively limited compared to a topic like Animals, Psychological or International. I happened to read one just by chance.

Joy D | 10078 comments I really enjoyed this tag. It gave me a chance to read books for which movies have been made. I'm not a movie-goer, so I felt like I caught up on a bit of popular culture that I had previously missed.

So interesting . . .I thought this one would be very popular!

NancyJ (nancyjjj) | 11067 comments I'm sure Poll Ballot is the explanation for many of us. I had more books ready to read for this tag, but I couldn't even muster the energy to write reviews for all the books I did read. Not to mention the movies I saw. I'm still not really back.

I imagine flurries (and real life holidays) reduce the number of tag books read every year at this time. I know it will affect this month's International tag too.

Even though it had lower numbers, Journalism was one of my favorite tags of the year. Some of the books took longer to read but they were very worthwhile.

I think Journalism was my favorite too-and I am with you on not having any energy last month to even look for a book. I usually have 4 or 5 in mind, but I only picked up 1 and then DNF

LibraryCin | 11678 comments I think "journalism", too, being more narrow, is harder to just happen to have a book you're reading, anyway, happen to fit the tag.

With the broader tags, it's easy for that to happen.
