What book have you read that is an afrofuturist?

Afrofuturist definition: An intersection of imagination, technology, and the future of liberation of African diaspora, coined by Mark Dery in 1993.

What do we think about the book The Dark Fantastic by Ebony Elizabeth Thomas? It's nonfiction but the reviews I've read said it discusses the genre. Would this count or should it be an actual title in the category and not just discuss the category?

Elizabeth, I would say, "no." But it has less than 1,000 ratings on Good Reads. Maybe you could fit under that prompt? I'm putting that book on my TBR list. Looks great!
