Anita Pomerantz | 9280 comments I've started to see lists of the top books. It's always fun to share them. If the list is not behind a paywall, feel free to post the link here.

If it is, then it would be terrific if you could post the book titles themselves.

Thanks for sharing! I don't know about you, but I feel like there was less consensus this year than prior years.

This is loaded on my Kindle and I plan to dive in in early 2021.

I wonder if there is a werewolf in it ;)

I just came to share the same. I've read 4 but many more on hold at the library or perhaps need to be added there. Obama really does a great list!

I'm thinking if the Mental Health tag wins for January that I will read Hidden Valley Road. It has been on my radar all year.

I read it earlier in the year. It was really good but also really a tough read. It is an interesting mix of family history/ memoir and the story of the scientific research. The rough part includes explicit abuse so be warned.

let me know if you are still interested after the reveal of the tag. If it is something else, I will probably put it on the back burner as, I have others I am more interested in reading.

Amy | 12906 comments Hidden Valley Road is one that we have put on the 'local' book club list. I think people are getting very interested in it. I bet it shows up a lot in 2021.

Well this is awesome! Love that all the work is done.
But wow I diverged from the general public in 2020. I though Vanishing Half was dumb. And Leave the World Behind boring and pointless. Didn't like The Glass Hotel at all (sorry, Obama, I still love you) nor Such a Fun Age ...

Shuggie Bain - I just couldn't get past the alcoholism thus child abuse in this one.

LOVED Piranesi, A Children's Bible and Hamnet. My Dark Vanessa was solid, as was Real Life.
