I like this book and it was a "toss up" for me between reading this one and Why Shoot a Butler? for this prompt but as I intended to read a few of Christie's novels I decided against it for variety.

Sandy | 1631 comments John, While reading the reviews for The Frangipani Tree Mystery I see you've read it. Do you think it would qualify for the 'disabled character' category? The synopsis mentions she has a limp from polio, but a limp could be slight or severe.

I was considering that point myself. It's enough of a factor in the story that I'd say it would qualify.

John It's a terrific series! There's upfront racism aplenty, Su Lin is determined to have a professional work life (for which she's more than qualified) than be a housekeeper or shop assistant.
