Brianne (iliketoreadbooks) | 588 comments what do you guys do if a book gets wet?

message 2: by Casey (new)

Casey get angry at the book for getting wet...

Rachel (aka. Kaiserin Sisi) (looney-lovegood) | 261 comments It depends on what book. If it's a book that I absolutely love (Harry Potter, Pride and Prejudice...) then I get a new copy. I've done this with several of my Harry Potter books. XD

Otherwise, I keep it anyways, and just read it with the annoyingly stiff pages.

Brianne (iliketoreadbooks) | 588 comments so like. there's no way to fix it... :( :(

Rachel (aka. Kaiserin Sisi) (looney-lovegood) | 261 comments Well, some really high quality books are very water resistant. But if the paper is all soggy and crinkled, there's no fixing it. Sorry. :(

message 6: by Brianne (new)

Brianne (iliketoreadbooks) | 588 comments yeah, i tried to fix one, one word. mold.

I must try that! My lifelong goal is to take a bath while reading a book. My life would be complete if I could do that ^.^

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

TARA!ITS FUN TO DO THAT!

message 19: by Brianne (new)

Brianne (iliketoreadbooks) | 588 comments wait you've never taken a bath with a book? i do that all the time... well there's a drought now, so i haven't taken baths in a while

but NO i didn't drop the book in the bath, im more careful than that.

it was in my backpack when something exploded on it, it saved both of my binders though :)
