La_mariane | 4 comments Hello everybody!

I'm here again this year, after managing to knowk 13 books off my TBR pile in 2020. I'll try again for Pike Peak this year, as I had great fun last year.

La_mariane | 4 comments OK, first book this year : Croatoan by José Carlos Somoza. Not my cup of tea at all, it took forever to finish. Horror novel, but without the fright factor, for me. Just ended up being weird and boring.

Thanks, it was a drag. I hope it's the hardest step, with the other ones being easier.

La_mariane | 4 comments Book 2 : short story by Victor Hugo, Claude Gueux by Victor Hugo. Story against death penalty, for education and humane treatment of prisonners. Written in the 19th century, but still very relevant.
