I don’t think cereal is a soup either.

Welll everyone should say what their definition is of soup and cereal

But the main focus of soup is the liquid, while for cereal its the solid cereal part.

The purpose of eating cereal is not to drink milk though.

Nooo soup focuses on the liquid, and although it has other things in it, those things aren’t the main focus of the soup. Cereal focuses on the cereal itself. Some people don’t even put milk in their cereal, so I don’t think it should be considered a soup.
