Cheryl Olson (girlsmama) | 694 comments I'm bringing this one back as we have folks from all around the world in this group and while I am based in the US , it's a lovely way for me to "visit" other countries via a good book- not quite the same thing, but the closest I can get right now. Member Bonny had a great idea on how to differently structure this challenge and I thought what a fun thing to try, so thank you Bonny!

Her idea was to make the levels by differentiated by continent:

1) North America & UK level (read books set in US, Canada, Mexico, & UK)

2) Europe level (read the above books AND at least one book set in another European country)

3) Asia level (read the above books AND at least one book set in an Asian country)

4) Africa level (read the above books AND at least one book set in an African country)

5) South America level (read the above books AND at least one book set in a South or Central American country)

6) Oceania level (read the above books AND at least one book set in Australia, New Zealand or a Pacific Island)

7) Antarctica level (for the overachievers, read all the above AND a book set in Antarctica)

Doesn't that sound like fun? I know that I am "in" for this new structure.

If you feel as if that won't be doing very many you are free to set it up the old way as well.

1-5 countries- a bit of a jaunt

6-10- countries- a nice little holiday

11-25- countries- an experienced traveler

26-49 countries- Passport is fully stamped

50+ countries- World traveler

If you are "in" for this one, just let us know and here is the link for the tracker- reminder the tracker will go live on January 1st.

https://www.goodreads.com/challenges/...

Also if you'd like to keep track by map it's super easy- go here and then check mark the countries as you visit them and then copy and paste the html into your thread- really fun. Here's the link to the map site- https://douweosinga.com/projects/visi...

Right now, I've got 12 out of 15, which is good for almost July.
