I read, and recommend, The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett.

I finally got to the latest Beverly Jenkins romance novel, Wild Rain. It was fabulous just like all of her books.

I read Her Body and Other Parties which includes a lot of short stories. I liked some short stories and didn't enjoy some, but overall this book was not my favorite.

I read Look, Black Boy by Caleb "The Negro Artist" Rainey. An eye-opening poetry collection where Rainey reflects on growing-up as a black boy in the midwest.
