WHY DID YOU APPLY?

My parents always tell me if you don't try you'll never know if you succeed, so here we are! I'm so glad they're supportive of everything I do. It was a fit of rebellion. I wanted to see how my family would react, but I didn't think I'd get in for real.

  Henrietta is, to say the least, somewhat of a pushover. Being the middle child between two assertive siblings tended to not go quite in her favor, but she developed an almost maternal sense through this. She doesn't pride herself in how easily she acquiesces to puppy dog eyes asking for another piece of candy, but she's not displeased. Hen tends to sugarcoat difficult topics ( "a spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down" ) and sometimes it might not just be for the sake of the other person. One wouldn't describe her as fragile, to be exact, but there are some thing she'd rather not deal with. On the occasion that you do somehow get her to the point of upset, it's not uncommon for her to break her no swearing policy. And a few well-placed hits to the ego are to be expected.

Nicknamed "the most qualified of the Selected", Kasia Ernst undoubtedly has a head-start over everyone else. She's the daughter of prominent politician Aleksander Ernst, and she's every inch as expected the perfect image of grace and charm. I was so nervous about whether I'd be chosen or not that I couldn't fall asleep at all the night before results were announced! Her family's been keeping secrets from her. Her own blood, for starters, because she's not Aleksander Ernst's real daughter. But she'd literally do anything than to be exposed and drop down to an Eight. At least as a princess of Illéa, she'd be protected...
