My review of The Thief of Always by Clive Barker, which I just finished. :)

message 12: by Char (new)

Char | 17457 comments I've read Weed by Joseph D'Lacey which was a crazy fun creature feature, with a side of political commentary.

Also, Snow, Glass, Apples by Colleen Doran which was a short, beautifully illustrated graphic novel by Neil Gaiman. It's his adult take on Snow White.

Fiiiiinally finished A Book of Bones

Been awhile since a book took me 5 days to finish. Not a good start to the new year.

Rachel (rachelunabridged) | 589 comments Erin wrote: "It's a shame really since the story itself was pretty good."

i know! the premise itself was really good and had a lot of potential. i just wasn't a fan of the direction she took it (especially toward the end), and her writing was irritating to me. idk if i'll ever forgive using the term "ferocious olives" to describe someone's pupils, lmao.
