〰️Beth〰️ (x1f4a0bethx1f4a0) | 97 comments I ended with maybe 6 books in 2020 so my goal will be 10 for this year.

Carry overs:

Unquiet
The Hottest Dishes of the Tartar Cuisine

〰️Beth〰️ (x1f4a0bethx1f4a0) | 97 comments January

I only got to Fieldwork in Ukrainian Sex by Oksana Zabuzhko this month. Only 3 stars for me.

Hoping to get to at least Breasts and Eggs and Unquiet in February.

Alwynne So glad you liked it Beth, even the sections I wasn't as keen on fascinated me, and loved the first half.

So did I Alwynne, the second half seemed less cohesive.

〰️Beth〰️ (x1f4a0bethx1f4a0) | 97 comments Finally finished Little Reunions by Eileen Chang. Hit and miss for me. Glad I read the book but at times I found it choppy and had to put it down then return to it at a later time.

Alwynne Pain about the Chang, I've never read anything of hers but have one waiting on my tbr pile, not this one, so will be interested to see if it's any better. Better luck with your next WIT read!

message 8: by Story (new)

Story (storyheart) I've been meaning to try some Chang this year too. Is there a different one you can recommend, Beth?

No this is the first I have read.
