What book have you read that discusses body positivity? Was it a fiction or nonfiction book?

Gaea I just started "A Study in Scarlet Women" by Sherry Thomas. The focus isn't really body positivity, but it is one of the characteristics of the book's main characters.

Allyce (allycereadsbooks) I read No Big Deal by Bethany Rutter. It's YA and I wish it had been around when I was at school/sixth form! Really enjoyed it. MC has a larger body which she feels confident and comfortable in.

Shannon (srcolvin) | 40 comments I read One to Watch for this prompt. If you like tv shows like The Batchelor, you might like this book.

‘Spoiler Alert’ by Olivia Dade fits this perfectly! It’s a cute romcom that follows a woman who is coming out of her shell and refusing to apologize for being herself. After showing the world who she is, she is shamed for her size, but the actor of the TV show she is cosplaying asks her out on a date. What starts as a way to shut up some online bullies turns into a real romance! But will this work in the real world?

Nichol Albertson (nalbertson) | 8 comments I don’t know if anyone would object, but I used Nothing to See Here about two combustible children and the misfit antihero who takes the job of caring for them and loving them as they are.
