What book do you think that your best friend would like? Have you recommended it to them?

I think that if my friend gave them a chance, she might like the ‘Daughters of Eville’ series by Chanda Hahn, as the princesses really start out as anti-heroes! I will be reading the 5th book for this challenge that comes out sometime this year.

Michelle Johnson My best friend and I were obsessed with the Twilight series in high school, haha. I'm going to read Midnight Sun and recommend it to her too!

Eva Erskine, PhD | 1 comments I read Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah for my first book of the year. I recommended it to my friend yesterday.

Sheila Knotts | 26 comments I read The Bookwoman of Troublesome Creek about the pack mule librarians in Appalachian Kentucky last year and recommended it to several people. Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik I read last year and recommended it to our zoom book club and we all read it and loved it for our first book of the year. It is long though, a fairy tale retelling with magic .

Leah Still | 23 comments My friend and I both enjoy crime/mysteries and when I told her I was reading A Darker Domain by Val McDermid, she said she would like to read it after me, so it fits this prompt!

This was the first Val McDermid book I've read, and it was both gripping and well-written.

Shannon (srcolvin) | 40 comments I read Florence Adler Swims Forever for this prompt. It is a historical fiction that takes place in 1930s Atlantic City.
