But I read the first one last month and I'm so excited to read this one!
maybe after some of my BRs :P

I actually read this last month, and I really liked it! It centres around Maeve and her friends after someone in the school starts a Truth or Dare game trying to copy Simon (Truth: they reveal your darkest secret, Dare: they give you a dare to do)... it was really fun to see how the lives of the original Bayview Four turned out, there were so many references and scenes about that, and even Ashton and Eli's wedding taking place! So yeah, I really enjoyed it :D

I was honestly quite disappointed with this one, I found it to be so much more predictable than One of Us is Lying, and far less interesting. I was also disappointed that the Bayview Four weren’t hugely involved in the plot. I think I would have preferred One of Us is Lying to remain as a standalone novel instead.

it was good, i finished it in one sitting. i didn't enjoy the first book as much because i accidentally read a spoiler. (view spoiler)[i was shipping phoebe and knox so hard and i'm glad they got together. twist with emma was kind of predictable but i was still surprised. i think owen should've been left alone. him being guilty felt like it came out of nowhere. 6th graders usually have a moral compass and they're usually scared of contributing to bombing. also, i'm no computer expert but maeve kind of felt like one of those "hackers" in movies that click the keyboard a few times and say "i'm in". I read this on Libby immediately after I finished my copy of One of Us Is Lying. I got that twist easily but this one completely got me.

My copy of this just arrived today from book depository, and I have a BR planned. I LOVED One of Us is Lying and I'm so excited to start this!

Onto the book, if you connect with our OG squad, Maeve is like Bronwyn, Knox is a mix of Bronwyn and Cooper and Phoebe is like Addy! There are just the three of them in this, right? Like no 4th one? (hide spoiler)]

Yeah, just three in this one... yay, you're liking it! I think the mystery hasn't really taken off at that point, it's more about the characters, right? I really liked seeing the original squad together again in this one :D

OMG! I just found out that it is, indeed, being made into a TV show by Peacock!!
Can the show just come out already? I'm so excited!

I KNOW, I found out a couple days ago and was super excited.

I have started this one and I have liked this so far. I just have to see if I have time to finish this at the weekend... I would love to!
