I like this theme idea a lot, Nell! It ties in nicely with the Around the World challenge too!

I'm a little concerned that not everyone will have books on their tbr's that are set in 5 different countries.

I'd love to hear feedback from others participating in this challenge!

We can always add the books in TBR when doing the challenge itself, right? Or is this cheating as the goal is to get rid of books actually on our TBR?

Reading around the world would be a real challenge for me as I mostly I read books set in US or UK. I will have to check my TBR to see if I have different countries. Too bad I read one from India and one from Japan already last year

Laura | 28 comments Ok, I'm in.
Overall: i am good at reading what i like (fav genre) and authors not read yet (just pick from huge tbr wishlist). not so good in reading books that have been on the list forever, i found that maybe i should delete most of those from my tbr, they are not a fit anymore. and the country-thing is not something i specifically look for in a book. and i find myself sometimes less attracted to certain countries. it is good to challenge myself and try it anyway sometimes. i hope we do this again in 2022.

Authors not read yet (okt-dec)
Result: 5/5 (reading rockstar)

2. Ik ga leven 15/10

Most of the books I read are also set in the US & UK. I want to expand my awareness of other cultures by reading literature set in other countries. For those who don't have the books in their TBR, maybe broaden the option so it's not five different countries - but 5 books not set in the country where you live?
