I just want to share that out of these 11 books, a whole TWO are books that are from my shelf and not library books haha. SO PROUD--reading unread books i already own.

Thanks

Thanks"
I am so sorry, Cathy! Actually, I'm sorry to EVERYONE who posted books for April. I didn't include any of the April challenge books in my total for April. I think I've got them all totaled up now!

Thanks"

I am a member but I am not on the list. I have read 26 books so far this year. Linda Rossi

Hi Linda! I did a quick spot check on the 2021 challenges and the monthly specials but didn't see any books from you. Are you using a different account to record your books? What categories have you used?

I am just keeping track of my books regularly on Good Reads. Should I be doin something different?

For Stephanie to count the books:
They must be recorded in this group.
Example:
I finish reading "The Plant" which fits the June monthly Challenge.
I open the month challenge post, create a comment that says Connie's plant books and record my book. If you use the add book/author link in the comments, it is then easy for others to check it out.
You do the same thing for any book you read that fits any challenge criteria. Year long challenges are limited to 5 books each. Monthly challenges have no limit but must be read in the current month and posted ASAP. Books may only be counted once so you cannot use any book in 2 different challenges.
To add another book to the same challenge, go to your original comment and edit it by adding the next book.
Each book that fits these categories will count for 1 point with a couple exceptions.
However, the Book Chain is a bonus challenge not counted for points, so you can use a book in it which is in another category.
I hope this clears things up. I help Stephanie out with some of the challenges so usually I can help answer any questions you might have.

Hi Linda! What Connie said.
Lol, I think she covered most of it but, as always, if you have any questions, please let us know and we'll do our best to get 'em answered. The "challenge" part of this group is to read books to meet each of the annual challenges, and we also do monthly special challenges (which Connie manages). In addition to those "themed" challenges, we've added a few others, like the Bookworm BINGO, and new for this year, the Book Chain. I hope you'll jump right in and get started!

No problem, Linda. I'm not sure how you access the group, I find the app very cumbersome, so I use the desktop URL:
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/list_...
You'll see all the various discussions there, including the monthly challenges, and the year-long challenges.

Hang in there, Patty! And thanks for checking in with us. Hopefully you'll get some time for reading soon.... :-)

Good to hear from you, Turtlefrog!
