Challenge: 50 Books discussion

Well its that time of year.
Last year I didnt hit my goal til much later than previous years. but I still read over 60 stories which included over 10k pages and 320 hrs of audio.
As always I will start with a 52+ story goal, while I usually read ebooks or audio, I started a LFL at my fathers so I might start reading hard press books again.
I also found last year Amazon Primes's FirstReads program where they give away a recent/upcoming release each month. This has stretched my reading base quite a bit. I am looking forward to what this year has in store reading wise,

I am at 43 so far this year and do not expect to hit 50 but I will continue to try. The books I read are mostly smaller print than your average fiction book. Still going to try and make my goal. I also try to reach 30,000 pages each year, again, this is going to be a stretch this year as I am only at 22200 so far. If I continue to read 500 page books and do make it to the 50 mark that will keep from reaching my goal of 30,000 pages. Going to try anyway.

Any reading accomplishment is a great. My reading numbers include audio as well as reading- mostly ebooks of various sizes. I track page count as well as hours listened.
