Divya8720 Hey Reader's Corner!

Time's up for the poll about January's book and I have the results. This month, we will all be reading....*drumroll please* "To Kill A Kingdom" by Alexandra Christo!!!

I just have a couple of things to say, so bear with me.

Here are the specific poll results:
69.7% of votes were for "To Kill A Kingdom"
18.2% of votes were for "The Grace Year"
9.1% of votes were for "Seasons Of The Storm"
3% of votes were for "The Unbecoming Of Mara Dyer"

I understand that not everyone will be reading this book at the exact same time (though we will all be reading it this month), so there are a couple of things I have to say about that.

Literally whenever you have anything you want to talk about while reading this book, you can make another "Topic" in the "January" folder and say whatever you want there. We can all interact with each other by replying to that post.

(I'm pretty sure you can only add topics and post stuff on laptops, computers, etc. Not phones.)

Keep in mind that since we will all be reading different parts of the book, please don't spoil anything. But, the whole point of this group is for us to talk about books, so just remember to say "SPOILER WARNING" and about around which page it's on before you spoil a big part of the book. Please and thank you :)

I will be marking the book as I read it (with sticky notes of course haha) so that I know what I want to talk about. Feel free to do the same, or do as you please.

Also, we will have more of a discussion about the book towards the end of the month, when everyone has read it, but throughout the month I will still be posting some questions just to check up on y'all.

If you guys have the book (meaning you bought it) that's great. I don't buy tons of books unless I know I'll love them, so I don't have it. If you need some ideas as to where you can read it, I got you!! I checked out a physical copy of the book from my local library, so that's a great option. Of course, you could buy it if you want, but I know that isn't for everyone. You could also get a digital version. (either buy it or borrow it.) I borrow ebooks and audiobooks from the Libby app, and I highly recommend it.

So, yeah that's pretty much it. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to me. Also, if you want to specifically buddy read with someone in this group and read at the same pace with them, you can totally do that since most of us will be reading To Kill A Kingdom this month.

I hope all of this made sense haha

xoxo,

Divya
