What did you think about Week 1 (Part 1: Memory like a Movie - Deep Water) of Before the Ever After?

- How is this book written? What is interesting about the structure?
- Who are ZJ’s friends?
- What are three words to describe ZJ’s dad?
- What begins to happen to ZJ’s dad as we progress through this section?

1. I found the book to be written in poetry/lyrical which is very unique I haven’t read a lot of books like that
2. Popular, fatherly (duh), kind (at least in the first parts)
3. He’s kind of losing himself, I think his concussions he gets from playing football is starting to wear down on him,

I can’t wait to read the next part, it was really getting good and interesting
