A first topic: Joanie, a new member, asked if we had live video discussions of our BOTM each month. We do not, but as I listed the reasons it struck me that we don't mostly because written comments is the way we have always discussed our books and I, at least, never even thought of doing a video discussion.
There are potentially some challenges that might be difficult to solve, and I wouldn't want to replace the current method of discussing books, but it may also be that this approach might open the discussion to people who are intimidated at writing down their thoughts.
So, the first question is would there be any interest in adding a video discussion to the BOTM discussions? Would you favor that? If so, would you expect to participate? Or are you opposed to the idea, and if so, why?

My first reply! To reply I must use my computer. Neither the goodreads app nor the goodreads webpage (using Safari and Bing) will allow me to reply to a comment on my iPhone. Oh well. Thank you, Crystal.
We never started an Atrium for 2022, but then this one hasn't been used all that much, so I think we can leave it up.
