Description: Rose Drayton lives on the Edge, between the world of the Broken (where people drive cars, shop at Wal-Mart, and magic is a fairy tale) and the Weird (where blueblood aristocrats rule, changelings roam, and the strength of your magic can change your destiny). Only Edgers like Rose can easily travel from one world to the next, but they never truly belong in either.

Rose thought if she practiced her magic, she could build a better life for herself. But things didn’t turn out how she planned, and now she works a minimum wage, off the books job in the Broken just to survive. Then Declan Camarine, a blueblood noble straight out of the deepest part of the Weird, comes into her life, determined to have her (and her power).

But when a terrible danger invades the Edge from the Weird, a flood of creatures hungry for magic, Declan and Rose must work together to destroy them—or they’ll devour the Edge and everyone in it.

The only books I've read of hers were Kate Daniels...but I loved those.

I've started. I really like this magic world. It's different from the other urban fantasy where magic and normal are mixed. Here they keep everything in completely different worlds. That would be hard!

Yes, it is an interesting world. I like Declan and William.

I like the family relationship. Love the banter between Declan and Rose. Just finished. Loved it!

I'm trying to get into it. Let me see if I'm getting it.

Line between magical words. One the kids (her brothers?) can raise the dead and see magical stuff. She sleeps around or this world forces sleeping around? So this guy from the other world comes to sleep with her because of her white magic? But sex isn't the reason he is actually here. He needs her help.

Is that good so far?

Yes, The Edge is the line between the Broken(modern world) and the Weird(magic and blue blood aristocrats). Her brother Georgie has the power to raise the dead but it is killing him to keep them alive or some form. Her mother is the one who slept around and she suffered for that. Because Rose is able to flash white(which is a Blue Blood trait) she is highly prized. Declan is there for something not necessarily sex. You will find out more later in the story.

I love the boys! I do like Declan now too...I wasn't sure about him at first.

Finished. I like this world building with the three different levels of magic. I hope we see more of George and Jack!

Yes, her boss was a serious jerk. It isnt the sex. it is the potential of an offspring with her powers.

Boss is a jerk for sure. He knows there's nothing she can do about it since she doesn't have the proper paperwork.

Slowly but surely. Decland is going to win her over I think. What are these beast? Are they there for her?

I like Declan. He definitely has charisma. The beast you will find out more about as you read more. I don't want to give it away. Are you enjoying the read?

Sorry it's taking so long. Trying to stay interested in this world building. I'm pass the part where we learn about why Declan is really there. I was a little deflated learning that part. Poor Georgie. Hope he can be helped.

It's not as bad as soon I've had with other stories. Hope I be done soon.

Yes. I think so. Maybe another book or two. I have the second on my computer already from your shelf. Just have to load to my device after I finish this one.

Im glad I was worried about it expiring and that you ladies didnt have the books.

Things are ok for the moment. One of my close friend's husband died. We all went to college together. Then many others have lost family members. I've been supportive from afar.

I have about 2 parts left. I past the kinky part lol

I'm sorry that you have been dealing with the loss of friends and family members. It has definitely been a rough time for that.
