Play Book Tag discussion

Bernadette Fox is the mother of Bee and the wife of Elgie. Bee's parents have promised her a trip to anywhere if she maintains good grades throughout middle school. Bee's choice? Antarctica! This sends Bernadette into a panic. She really doesn't like people and would prefer to not leave her house. Bernadette hire Mandula a virtual assistant to do her errands for her and make arrange the trip to Antarctica. Along the way she comes up with a few hairbrained schemes to avoid going herself. Elgie questions Bernadette's state of mind and looks into having her involuntarily committed.

This book had me laughing out loud. It was outrageous and more than a little improbable, but that didn't spoil my enjoyment of it. I did find the ending a little strange and it didn't really fit with the rest of the book. Overall I did enjoy it.
