I enjoy reading graphic novels, but don't own any. Graphic novels will likely make up a lot of this virtual climb.

This was on the library's recommendation page for 'New Beginnings'. Resisting the Attention economy is one of my current interests and I did enjoy exploring some of the concepts presented, but I didn't love the overall organization of the book.

I read an article on NPR about this new book and it came up surprisingly quickly on my library holds. It was a worthy read, with several thought-provoking ideas.

I've recently been fascinated by the topic of feminism and medicine. I've heard way too many stories recently about doctors not listening to women about their symptoms and have even experienced this with ovarian cysts and endometriosis of my own.

That one was a struggle. It would have been a DNF for me if I didn't hit the bioregionalism section when I did. It had just enough to hold my attention (along with being heavily referenced in other books and articles) to encourage me to see it to the end.

This was very short, taking less than an hour to finish. It's a very straight forward review of how to be creative with few extraneous details.

This one also counts for my personal reading challenge, which includes two Pulitzer-prize winning books. I love graphic novel memoirs, so this was in my wheelhouse.

The first book of this virtual climb satisfies my personal challenge of reading 5 Nobel Prize (in Literature) winning authors. I'm so glad that I set this as a challenge and that I picked this book up. It was amazing.
