Main Street by Sinclair Lewis--an author born in February and a book I've been meaning to read for a long time.

As I have seen her mentioned in several books that I have read recently, I nominate The Autobiography of Alice B. Toklas by Gertrude Stein, (she is also a February birthday).

Main Street has been on my TBR list forever. I would definitely be interested in this one.
I nominate Dubliners by James Joyce, 207 pages. Has been on my list too long and it's a nice short read for a short month.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I really appreciate your attempt to explain the reasons behind the nomination of a book.
I may be a dissonant voice, but since I'm currently reading The Drowned and the Saved by Primo Levi, I would like to read also If This Is a Man by the same author, as a way to pay honors to the International Holocaust Remembrance Day (27/01).

You can choose any book from the 1 000 books list which has not been read yet. As usual, you may pick a theme and nominate one or more books accordingly, if you prefer, or you can just pick an author born in February, as listed in this spreadsheet.
Nominations will be closed on January 20.
Let's start!
