two sentence horror stories are a great way for inspo

example: We all lost our sight in the Great Blinding. I suddenly regained my sight and all over the walls it said "don't let them know you can see"

Fun character exercise: write a letter from one character to another, it can be about anything. Doesn't matter if they sent it or not. Both characters don't need to be canonically alive. Just write a letter from a character's pov.

Jonnie Deitz | 1 comments Writing prompt idea..... You wake up as an animal or in a different life/as a different person. It could be turned into horror, mystery, heartfelt, sci-fi, or anything in between.

I haven't used this idea before but it seems it could work out.
