8. February 16th is Mardi Gras. Laissez les bons temps rouler ~ Let the good times roll! Read a book that has a carnival, parade, or party scene. You can also read a book that has a yellow/gold, green, or purple cover, or a book that is set in a location that celebrates Mardi Gras (Louisiana, Alabama, Italy, Brazil, etc.)
9. February 26th is Tell a Fairy Tale Day. Read a book that is based on a fairy tale or is a retelling of one. You can also read a book that has a fantasy genre, or my personal favorite - read a book that ends in "happily ever after"!
