1. Happy February Birthday!
Read a book published in February, or read a book with a purple cover in honor of February's birthstone, the Amethyst.

2. Baby Names!
Read a book that includes a character (doesn't need to be a MC) or is written by an author with one of the following popular baby names, or any variation or nickname of one of them. Alternately, you may choose a book with a character that somehow represents the name's meaning (in parentheses). Some of the meanings are pretty obscure, so feel free to be creative!
This month's names: Adam (Man Of The Earth), Lucas (From Lucania, Italy), Grace (Charm), Olivia (Ancestor's Descendant).

3. Featured Author Challenge (FAC) - Jill Shalvis:
Read one book written by Jill Shalvis, or any author with her first or last name.

You may also read a book set in California, or by an author who is from California. You can also read any book published in 1999, or is shelved as Contemporary Romance or a book by any author who has won a RITA award.

4. February is Great American Pie Month.
Read a book a book that includes the letters P I E in the author's name, book title, or series title. You can also read a book with a MC who is a baker or works in the food industry, or read a book with a page count that has the numbers: 3, 1, or 4.

5. February 1st is No Politics Day.
Read a book that is refreshing, turn off the TV, don't look at your social media, and stick your nose on a really good book. Reread a favorite or that new book from a favorite author!
Live in Love: Growing Together Through Life's Changes
✔ 06.02.2021 ★★★★★

6. February 11th is Make a Friend Day.
Ask one of your Goodreads friend to recommend a book to you. Or make a friend and ask whoever posts after you on this thread to choose a book from one of your chosen shelves (See post #3 for the list of people who are in this challenge). You may also read a book read by any participant of this challenge and rated 4 stars or higher, or a book that has been recommended to you in the past that you haven't managed to read yet.

7. February 14th is Valentine's Day.
Read a book that has something red, pink, or a heart on the cover. You can also read a book that has someone kissing/embracing on the cover, or a book that has a Valentine's Day theme.

8. February 16th is Mardi Gras.
Read a book that has a carnival, parade, or party scene. You can also read a book that has a yellow/gold, green, or purple cover, or a book that is set in a location that celebrates Mardi Gras (Louisiana, Alabama, Italy, Brazil, etc.)

9. February 26th is Tell a Fairy Tale Day.
Read a book that is based on a fairy tale or is a retelling of one. You can also read a book that has a fantasy genre, or my personal favorite - read a book that ends in "happily ever after"!
