Good pace for a 600+ page book, but still felt as if it lacked a main purpose. Enjoyed the relationship with father/son, and thought Eilen was an interesting character. Was this a book about family or Alzheimer's or relationships or real estate? I think it would have been better if it narrowed its scope. All of the themes felt unfulfilled.
