Anne C (fizzyannielizzy) | 1 comments Welcoming you to Week 4 a day late (sorry, I was off yesterday)!

I did a deep dive and tried to find fiction titles written by celebrities so that this wasn't just a list of autobiographies and memoirs (not that I don't love a good celeb tell-all!). Hopefully you'll find something that wasn't already on your radar!

One More Thing: Stories and Other Stories, B. J. Novak
Shopgirl, Steve Martin
Someday, Someday, Maybe, Lauren Graham
Rules for a Knight, Ethan Hawke
Uncommon Type: Some Stories, Tom Hanks
Bream Gives Me Hiccups, Jesse Eisenberg
The Meaning of Mariah Carey, Mariah Carey
Dear Girls: Intimate Tales, Untold Secrets, & Advice for Living Your Best Life, Ali Wong
I.M.: A Memoir, Isaaz Mizrahi
Hawking, Ottaviani & Myrick (Graphic Novel)
Touched by the Sun: My Friendship with Jackie, Carly Simon
Wildflower, Drew Barrymore
Fresh Off the Boat: A Memoir, Eddie Huang
Unstoppable: Harnessing Science to Change the World, Bill Nye
Open Book, Jessica Simpson
They Called Us Enemy, Takei & Eisinger (Graphic Novel)
I Like You: Hospitality Under the Influence, Amy Sedaris
The Last Black Unicorn, Tiffany Haddish
Home Work: A Memoir of My Hollywood Years, Julie Andrews

Shopgirl is one of my personal all-time favorites, but I'm interested in whether any of these titles resonate with you! And, as always, share what you've been reading in the comments!

P. S. Is anyone watching this season of The Bachelor?

Susan D'Entremont (susande) | 286 comments I am listening to Someday, Someday, Maybe even though I have no idea who Lauren Graham is. My kids say I would be the perfect resident of Hollywood because I would walk by all the stars without bothering them because I wouldn't recognize them.

Haha! I love it! She played Lorelei (the mom) on Gilmore Girls, and was also in Parenthood (the TV show), and a few other things.

Kate | 297 comments I love Lauren Graham! You could add this one the list above Talking as Fast as I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls

Are they making another season of the Gilmore Girls reboot? I was NOT satisfied with that ending.

I have never seen Gilmore Girls or Parenthood. Nor have I seen Friends, Game of Thrones or Hamiton. And I've never been to Disneyworld. I am completely out of it. But am very much enjoying the audio book. The reader does a good job, and I feel like I understand a little better the behind-the-scenes work of an aspiring actor.

Paige (pabarnum) | 14 comments For the "Book Written By or About a Celebrity" square I'm reading Robin [Williams] by Dave Itzkoff.

That title would be another great addition to the list! Let us know what you think of the book when you finish.

Just finished listening to Graham's book. Audio is the perfect format for it, especially with the author reading. A light read that I never would have picked up on my own, but I felt I learned a little bit of behind-the-scenes stuff about the acting industry. Thanks for including it on the list.
