Vote for what you'd like the group to read here!

If books are part of a series, they must be the first, unless the group has already read the previous book(s).
The top two books with the most nominations will be selected as book of the month for March.

Electra Nanou (enanou) | 3 comments Here are some great books:
The Thursday Murder Club (Thursday Murder Club, #1) by Richard Osman Crossings by Alex Landragin The Astonishing Colour of After by Emily X.R. Pan The Girl with the Louding Voice by Abi Daré

PattyMacDotComma I can't read the titles on my phone or mini i-Pad. It really helps if you write out the name or even link the name as well. The covers are useful if I happen to recognise them, like The Thursday Murder Club, which I loved!

Are we voting here, in this thread? If so, I vote for The Thursday Murder Club.

Thanks, Suren. I'll nominate The House in the Cerulean Sea.

And the ones I listed, apart from The Thursday Murder Club, are: Crossings by Alex Longdragin, The Astonishing Colour of After by Emily Pan, and The Girl With the Louding Voice by Abi Dare.

Thanks, Electra. When I'm on the laptop, I can hover over the cover and find the titles, but a lot of readers just use phones and tablets now to check updates, so they may not bother to comment if they can't see titles easily - and that's not good!!

I sent The House in the Cerulean Sea to my sister for Christmas, Electra. She started it, thought it seemed a little grim, but I convinced her to keep going and she LOVED it! You'll see what I mean. There is a big change (for the better) as the main character progresses.

I reviewed it here - no spoilers!

Catherine (cmeb) I vote for The Sundown Motel, probably because I just binge-watched Twin Peaks and it has that noir vibe.
