Discuss the Return of the King here. What did you think of it? What did you like/dislike about it? Who did you like best? What do you think were main themes in the book?

The Return of the king is a great book. I can't say its my favorite lotr book-because I don't have one. But just great. It has interesting themes to it. Of Justice and Mercy in the part where Aragorn judged after becoming king. But in Mercy also where at the very foot of mount doom when Frodo does not kill Gollum- which proves very fortuitous later on. I love the chapter, 'The Houses of Healing' and 'The Steward and the King' with how Eowyn finds happieness as she could not before in war and killing and despair, she finds in love, growing and gentleness.
