Nidhi Kumari Edmund was remorseful because of death of Edward else he had no remorse, not even for Mercedes. Mercedes was victim of time, how long she could have waited for the unknown. I liked the way novel ended.
I gave 5 stars to the book because of plot and writing.
This was the first book by Dumas which I have read.

Nidhi Kumari I liked the plot because almost every scene central character is present, which is a compliment for a book of this magnitude. Otherwise like in Dickens ‘s books there are many distractions ( important distractions ).
This was close knit.
