EEEHHH so glad you asked!!!!
Ok this is gonna be a long one, so get ready.
Before starting, just know, in my very humble opinion, The Land of Stories is so insanely incredible yet so incredibly underrated!!!
The Land of Stories is a series by Chris Colfer.
It is about two twins named Alex and Connor who find out that fairytales are real and that all the characters they grew up with actually exist!
Long story short, they go on adventures to save the fairy tale world.
I am sure that just judging based off of the title and plot, some people would consider this book to be childish, but in reality, this book and series is so beautiful. Kids and adults alike have fallen in love with Chris Colfer’s writing.
I would definitely recommend this book to others because the author, Chris Colfer, tales these beloved fairy tales that we all know and love, and he just elevates them. The whole plot and storyline is connected, and whenever something happens, there is a reason as to why it happened, and it isn’t random. The suspense that he builds is so incredibly engaging and Chris Colfer makes the fairy tales so much more real. (Like literally, so many of the fairy tales are connected in ways I could never have even imagined!)
I also love this book because the characters aren’t just black and white, they have layers to them which help the reader related to them. Chris Colfer gives every character, whether a hero or villain, a story, a life, and a purpose.
Of course, like any book, this book has its ups and downs, but honestly, I really enjoyed this book. Sure, some parts could have been written a bit better, but I am willing to look past its bad parts and say that this series is DEFINITELY worth a try!
I hope I have convinced you to read this series. If not, I don't know what will haha!
If you have any questions about the series, don't hesitate to ask me! I would love to talk to you about it!

My favourite series is the six of crows duology, and the hunger games! I also really like the cruel prince series and the Cursebreaker series.
