This is a screenshot that Dirk did to show how exactly to post pictures using HTML which is required here in Goodreads. Also, above this box in green lettering in the paretheses is says (some html is ok) and it gives instructions, for example how to use bold, or underline or italics, etc. I think the instructions for posting pictures are confusing. So Dirk posted this screenshot in the other group. You need to type exactly the way it is posted by him here:
The part between the "and" is where you will put your link for your picture. If your picture is on the internet, just right click and select copy image location and that is what you put between the "and" BUT keep the " ". and do everything else as it is written.
It usually requires only jpg. Some others can be loaded, but it's not surprising when after awhile, sometimes a short while, the picture disappears.
