James Field | 18 comments Hello Marie.

I have just released a new novella you might enjoy:

#
Enchanter on the Roof: a modern-day fantasy novella, with a touch of humor and villainess romance.

The Blurb:
A charmer stole his fiancé's love. In return, he'll take his life.

An enchanting young roofing contractor moves into number three Flintstone Terrace. All the girls in the exclusive private village drool over him, including Bert's fiancé, Olive. When Bert catches them in a passionate embrace, his jealousy takes deadly control.

But the villainous charmer is no fool, and there's something more sinister in the works than Bert's violent revenge can deal with. Soon, he finds himself at the contractor's mercy.

J.Y. Sam | 1 comments Hi Marie, would you like to review my book - The Ingenious and the Colour of Life. Here is the blurb:

From a beguiling voice in YA fiction comes an astonishing novel about a group of mysterious children with the power to change lives...

Ever since 15-year-old Milly Bythaway can remember, she’s had to hide who she really is – dumbing down an extraordinary genius in order to blend into the background. Young Tai Jones has been abandoned by his mother and forced to live as a homeless wanderer, but the appearance of a stray cat helps him realise he has a special gift: he can see thoughts and emotions of others in stunningly beautiful colours. A gift that is both wonderful and awful.

When the teenagers are brought together by a mysterious old scientist for their own safety, they discover a common and forgotten past. One of hidden experiments, and a missing family that they yearn to find. But on hearing of the disappearance of another child, they find themselves in an impossible dilemma - and, even after suffering painful and agonising failure, they must struggle against the fragility of human nature, and pick themselves up from the ground. Finally unleashing powerful and

Alex Robins | 17 comments Hi Marie!

I would love to find some kind soul to review my debut epic fantasy novel, The Broken Heart of Arelium

It's a fast-paced, action-packed fantasy tale with compelling characters and hidden mysteries.

You can get in touch via DM or email : warofthetwelve@gmail.com

epub and pdf available.

Here's the blurb :

Some Things Must Never Be Forgotten
*
Over 400 years ago, twelve great warriors united the beleaguered armies of men and scoured the war-torn lands of evil, pushing the enemy back into the underground pits and caverns from whence they came. To ensure their legacy, each of the Twelve founded fortress monasteries to impart their unique knowledge of war and politics to a select few, the Knights of the Twelve.
But now the last of the Twelve have long since passed from history to legend and the Knights, their numbers dwindling, are harbouring a dark and terrible secret that must be protected at all costs.
*
Merad Reed has spent half his life guarding a great crater known as the Pit, yearning for some escape from the bleak monotony. Then the arrival of Aldarin, one of the few remaining Knights of the Twelve, sets off a chain of cataclysmic events that will change Reed forever.
*
To the north, Jelaïa del Arelium, heiress to the richest of the nine Baronies, must learn to navigate the swirling political currents of her father’s court if she hopes one day to take his place. But the flickering flames of ambition hide the shadow of an even greater threat.
*
And deep within the earth, something is stirring.

Hi Marie,

Many thanks for proposing reviews.

I would be really glad if you could consider a short story just published. It's called: Albia

Fantasy, Pict/Celtic, paranormal
The Link:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...

Here's the blurb:

Albia, a loner, erring in a world of reality and nonsense, is summoned to the Ring of Brodgar. What awaits her? Can she assume her destiny? Or will the dark forces destroy her only attempt to find contentment, peace and love?

Follow Albia as she discovers her real identity. A beautiful fantasy short story of love and kindness.

She'll never be the same again, nor the world.

I can send you a file, pdf or epub, as you wish.$

Kind rgds. Mike.

Hello J.Y.! Your book sounds right up my alley! I do beta reading, freelance editing, and book reviewing for indie authors. In terms of reviews, I read and post all of my reviews for authors on Goodreads, Amazon, B&N, and/or Bookbub (depending on your preferences). I’d love to help in exchange for a physical copy of your work if you could use an honest review on any of the platforms I mentioned. Feel free to contact me here on Goodreads or at lilylyu7@gmail.com.

All the best,

Leslie Garland | 197 comments Dear Marie,

By way of introduction I found you on Goodreads. My Goodreads page is https://www.goodreads.com/author/show... My contact on Twitter is @LeslieWPGarland. Are you still looking for books to review? I am seeking reviews - particularly Amazon reviews, though all are welcome! - for my book The Red Grouse Tales; The Little Dog and other stories, which has recently won a Literary Titan Book Award. I’m wondering if you might be interested in reading and reviewing it.

To the blurb:-

Told in The Red Grouse Inn and described as modern fables, the universal appeal of these four charming, very different, adult, speculative, spiritual and philosophical tales will intrigue and entertain. With beautiful and atmospheric imagery, surreal and paranormal concepts of angels, ghosts and devils, they will have you guessing, turning the pages and looking forward to the next one.

The Little Dog, a story of good and evil and retribution.

The Crow, a sad, poignant story of misunderstanding, bitterness and blame.

The Golden Tup, a dreadful tale of a young couple’s paradise being cruelly taken from them by latent evil.

The White Hart, a happy ghost story, if there can be such a thing!

I usually say my stories are for adult readers because they are not ‘all action’ from page 1, and may contain some minor mention of sex and a tiny bit of bad language. However, I suspect they are very possibly suitable for a NA and even a YA readership.

Links: Amazon.co.uk , Amazon.com , Goodreads , Bookbub , Twitter , Facebook , and my website

Page count is 370 pages.
The book is written in UK English.

If these tales interest you and you are prepared to review them and post your review in a relatively timely manner (sorry, but I don’t want this just being added to a one mile long TBR list!) on, particularly Amazon, though all others are welcome, I will be happy to supply you with a free PDF, mobi or epub file.

I am hoping that my book appeals, that you will be interested in reading and reviewing it and so looking forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Leslie Garland.

As sometimes pasting into contact pages or DMs results in links loosing their ‘activity’ herewith is my Goodreads link from which most others can be found https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...

C.W. Lovatt (cwlovatt) | 75 comments Hi,

I’m looking for reviews for my latest book, “Yuri & the Pig” (87,000 words published by Wild Wolf Publishing), a work of fiction based on the current war in Ukraine. However, the countries involved are fictitious, too.

Amazon link: https://mybook.to/ynp

The following is the blurb:

“From the best-selling author of the Charlie Smithers adventures.

A farmer and his pig set off on an extraordinary quest across war-torn Eastern Europe.

Entangled in a savage war, the country of Xoraina is fighting for its very existence; but to Yuri, a simple peasant from a remote mountain village, it seems all but certain that the invading Zlaimperians must ultimately prevail. Not that it is of any consequence to him, of course. In Yuri’s view, every form of government is equally bad, so it makes very little difference who holds the reins of power. Indeed, throughout time, the only things that have ever really mattered are that the soil be tilled, the cows milked, and the pigs shipped to market, all in a timely fashion.

But when an exorbitant new tax threatens that philosophy, he sets off with his pig across the war-ravaged land to the Capital in order to fight the injustice. In the process, their journey becomes a road to a terrible enlightenment, causing Yuri to question his deeply seated beliefs. But only when he and his pig find themselves placed squarely in destiny’s path is there any hope of those questions finding answers.”

If interested, please contact me at clovatt@xplornet.ca and I’ll arrange for you to receive an e-copy in the format you prefer.

Thank you for your time.
