PopSugar Reading Challenge 2021 discussion

For the week of Feb. 14-20.

This week I read 3 books towards the challenge:

1. Girl A by Abigail Dean for the book on my TBR with the ugliest cover. I'm not sure it's the ugliest on my entire TBR, but I don't care for it. Story was pretty disappointing, too. :(

2. The Burning Girls by C.J. Tudor for the book published in 2021 prompt.

3. Do No Harm by Christina McDonald for a book about a social justice issue. It deals with the opioid epidemic. 5/5 stars. So far, this is my favorite book of the year.

I got 5 books read this week! I caught up and am now 1 book ahead of my good reads challenge schedule.

1. I finished ‘A Court of Wings and Ruin’ by Sarah J Maas, which is the 3rd book in the ACOTAR series.

2. I read ‘A Court of Frost and Starlight’ by Sarah J Maas, which is book 3.1 in the ACOTAR series, and sets up for book 4.

3. I read ‘A Court of Silver Flames’ by Sarah J Maas, which is book 4 in the ACOTAR series. It just came out Tuesday so I used it for a book published in 2021 and it was really good overall!

4. I read ‘Beasts and Beauty’ by A. Lonergan, which is the second book in this series and is a beauty and the beast retelling. I also enjoyed this overall and recommend!

5. I finally finished ‘The Wicked King’ by Holly Black, this is the second book in The Folk of the Air, and was also pretty goood. Huge plot twist at the end though!

Over the past few days I have finished 3 books for the challenge and have started 2 more.

My goal is 40 books and I have currently finished 14.
