Oh my word, y'all, anybody else caught up in the recent Texas Freeze? I had been without power and water since Monday. Water and Power have been restored and all os well in my little world.

This week I'm reading Follow The River bk 1 and After The Rain Falls bk2 by CE Ricci as well as Wild Pitch by Quinn Ward.

Oh my goodness Oakie! What a nightmare. I’m so glad uou are ok.

I read and loved Winters Orbit a MM sci-fi mystery I think would be the genre. Very well done—a first novel.

Okie, so glad you've finally got water and power back! All that has been such a mess. I'm happy you're getting some creature comforts back.

I just finished Always Only You by Chloe Liese and it has the best romance novel depiction of life with a disability I've read since Sarina Bowen's The Year We Fell Down. The heroine has autism and rheumatoid arthritis and is the social media manager for a pro hockey team and the hero is one of the players. The romance is slow burn (though it does burn eventually) and really packed an an emotional punch for me. The hero, Ren is one of the hottest nerd athlete heroes I've read in a long time. And Frankie, the heroine, was just very resonant with me for a lot of reasons. It's also just funny and sweet and sexy and fun.

This week I'm reading Big Bad Wolf by Suleikha Snyder.

Susan (susaninaz) | 1075 comments I'm going to read Bethany Bennett, Any Rogue Will Do this week. Okie, do you have one of those little solar devices to charge your e-reader device? We found one of these little saviors a while back.

Stacey (staceyissassy) Sorry you went through that Okie and I hope it's all better from here.

I'm currently reading an ARC of Sweetheart by Sarah Mayberry and listening to the Bootleg Spring series by Lucy Score and Claire Kingsley.

Okie that sucks! I hope you guys will be ok as you go on

I'm reading Wicked All Night by Jeaniene Frost and rereading His Countess by S.M. LaViolette. Both books are very good.

I just finished Rakehell of Roth by Amalie Howard and as delightful as it was, I must say it didn't quite meet my expectations from The Beast of Beswick.

This week I'm reading Big Bad Wolf. Sometimes Ms. Quinn's OTT humor can be a bit much for me but in this book, it really really worked. I laughed and a cried a little bit too! As for Big Bad Wolf, I currently have it checked out of my library on a reading app called Hoopla. Unfortunately, the app is not my favorite and it'll bounce me around in the chapter a bit. I'm returning this copy and have requested the hardcover. It's on the shelf in my local library, so I'll be able to pick it up soon. I'm only on Chapter 6 and there's been a lot of world building and characters introduced, but I'm already drawn into the story so I will definitely will continue once I have that book in hand.
