Best Books to Read for High School

I think the best book I read in High School was Farenheit 451. 1984 was a drop boring but at the same time sooo good and relevent. Homestly I think I was the only kid in the class that liked almost everything we read

Cool! I read Fahrenheit 451 in 9th grade. It wasn't exactly my favorite though. I haven't read 1984, but I have it, and I do plan on reading it sometime soon.
lol, honestly, me too! I'm the student who loves to read . . . A LOT!
I personally enjoyed Just Mercy and To Kill a Mockingbird.

I wish that If You Come Softly was assigned in school. It gives the heartbreak of Romeo and Juliet but with much more current issues woven throughout the book.

I read The Memory Keeper's Daughter for a choice reading unit in English. I thought it was really good.

Best book I've read has to be either Much Ado About Nothing (I'm a simp for any books by Shakespeare) or The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank.
Book I wish my teachers would assign either The Perks of Being a Wallflower orTo Kill a Mockingbird
I think The Lord of the Rings and Romeo and Juliet are great books for deep discussions (:

I've heard of it. Our former mod Emary read it and loved it!
