Enemies to lovers! I love that thin line between love and hate. :)

My reading and writing schedule wasn't really affected by quarantine. The only thing that changed was what I read. I rediscovered my love for paranormal romance. :) As for writing, I had so many things in the works that I could just switch projects if I felt a motivation issue.

I just finished a draft of a paranormal romance! So excited about it. I'm currently working on a hockey romance, too.

My next book is a NA romance that stems from a one night stand. That will be released late August. Zoe was so much fun to write. :)

I love enemies to lovers and friends to lovers. Honestly, writing about side characters who are friends is tough for me. That's one reason Mallory in Full Count is such a loner on so many levels.

My daughter. She's incredibly supportive. I started writing again because of her. How could I tell her to follow her dreams if I didn't follow my own? So that's what keeps me going. Whenever I get frustrated, I think about that epiphany and it helps me keep going. :)

Jennifer Noseworthy (jenlnose) | 8 comments What is your regular writing routine? Are you a plotter or a pantster? Do you have any advice for beginning writers?

The best time for me to write is early in the morning. I make sure my butt is in the chair by 5am when I'm drafting. When I'm rewriting, revising, and editing, I tend to work morning and night.
I'm both a plotter and a pantster. Some stories require more planning and others require I go by the seat of my pants.
Best Advice: Don't give up. Cheesy? Sure, but it's true. Life will beat you down, but it's up to you to fight back to get what you want.
