great review, Halima! I do have a couple of suggestions. so maybe for the intro quote, you can put it in italics because that's how quotes usually are. if you don't know how to do that, let me know. also, you could bold the words like "worldbuilding", plot", and any of the characters' names to bring attention to that section. let me show you what all those suggestions together would look like.
"“That was what magic did. It revealed the heart of who you’d been before life took away your belief in the possible.”
If I could describe this book, it would be Sorcery of Thorns mixed with contemporary murder mystery.
This book was a rollercoaster to say the least and I loved every minute of it. It was very different to what I’m used to when reading Leigh’s work, the Grishaverse, but I loved this new adventure!!
Alex (or Galaxy) is such a complex female lead, she was taken out of her troubled past and placed into Yale to begin a supposedly “normal” life (with magic and monsters). I loved her character development so much, she is so vulnerable throughout yet she is so determined to get what she wants and fight for the ones she loves. The side characters were absolutely iconic, Dawes and Darlington, I loved both of their humours so much and the journey they both go through with Alex was amazing. I would’ve loved if there was more about Alex and Darlington’s relationship, they had so much potential.
The worldbuilding of Ninth House is very complex. It took me a while to get into it and it was a little confusing at the start, but I loved the integration of the Yale university setting with the magic of the different institutions.
The plot had me hooked from the start, Tara Hutchins’ murder was the main theme of the book, mixed with Alex’s new life at Lethe and the intricate magic of the institutions, which turns out to be corrupt. The plot twist at the end has made me so excited for the second book and I can’t wait to see where Leigh takes Alex’s journey."
but yeah, these are just suggestions, so you don' have to add these edits. I just wanted to bring these to your attention so you can make the adjustments you'd like to make.

you're welcome! oh yeah, let me show you. so if you go to the right corner of this comment box, you'll see "(some html is ok)". so click on that, and you should be able to see the steps for adding images, bolding, italics, etc.
but if you can't find that, here's how you do it for bolding (without the spaces).
< b > ______< / b >
and italics
< i > ______ < / i >
make sure they're lowercase, and the "_____" I put is just for the words you want to bold or something. let me just show you how to add images while we're here.
< img src = " (copied image address) " / >
now, when you're actually doing this, only add a space between "img" and "src". I think everything else shoudl be withotu spaces. hope his helps!

Hey Mrunal! I’m good, just really tired and exhausted from school, wbu??"
you're welcome boo <3

No worries.
We haven’t talked since long!
